KT9-S – a 1 micron sediment filter to remove minute impurities such as rust, soil, sand and dust and extends life of other filters.
KT9-PCB – a carbon block construction, with minimum fibre release, to remove all chlorine and chemicals to preserve life of reverse osmosis membrane.
KT9-PC – Antibacterial post carbon cartridge to ensure great tasting water.
Your membrane is replaced every 3 years.
To ensure mineralised, oxygen rich alkaline water to assist in the elimination of free radicals and maintain a healthy immune system, we recommend the addition of the Pi Alkaline Water Filter, which is replaced every 12 – 18 months, maximum 2 years.

WHICH MODEL SHOULD I CHOOSE?
KT9-Twin – Recommended
- Homes in Melbourne/Canberra/Sydney or areas with good water quality.
- In newer homes when rust or sediment in pipes is not an issue. This unit does not have a sediment pre-filter, and the Ultra-filtration membrane could clog up.
- Single households when demand is small.
KT9-3UF – Recommended
- Homes Australia wide when good quality water is required.
- For tank water when Bacteria and Giardia parasites are a concern. The sediment pre-filter will remove all large particles. If tank water has high turbidity an additional sediment filter may be required to prefilter particles prior to the unit.
HOW IT WORKS
A combination of Kwik Twist cartridges are incorporated in all models. These include sediment, pre-carbon, Ultra fine Membrane for Bacteria/Giardia removal, Reverse Osmosis Membrane for mineral removal, post-carbon, and a KDF cartridge for heavy metals including copper, lead, zinc etc.
REVERSE OSMOSIS
KT9-USRO – 4 Stage under-sink reverse osmosis is sleek with relevant Automatic Shut-Off Valve, Check Valves, etc. incorporated into the head of the unit, keeping them secure and eliminating the possibility of unexpected disconnection, crinking etc. The unit incorporates the Purestream specially designed Membrane Service Mode. For schematics check out How To section. Including Sediment, Pre carbon block to minimise release of fibres, Filmtec USA made TFC 75gpd membrane and post carbon filter.
CARBON UNDERSINK MODELS.
Twin and triple stages are available and all include a premium 0.03 Ultra Filtration Membrane for the removal of Viruses,
Bacteria, Giardia E-coli. Included with sediment, carbon as well as KDF for heavy metal removal, providing a unique range of filters for use on both chlorinated and tank water.
Puregold is priviledged to distribute the Purestream ‘Kwik Twist’ TM replacement cartridge pak. All cartridges are 12 monthly replacements and are excellent for consumers who want a simple cartridge replacement. These throw-away cartridges require no spanners and are a simple twist and lock action. They are available in cartridge pak form to make ordering simpler. If individual cartridges are required they can be located in their different categories, sediment, carbon, etc.
