Includes standard 9 3/4″ 1 micron per filter and 0.2 micron Doulton Ultra Carb for removal of bacteria, chlorine, Giardia and heavy metals including copper. Excellent for tank water or town supply when copper is a concern. Ceramic cartridge can be scrubbed to remove sediment build up. Replacement 12 monthly.

BACTERIA REMOVAL SUITABLE FOR TANK WATER
This heavy duty water filter system double filters the water and ensures maximum cartridge life for medium to large families. The Doulton Ultra Carb with its ceramic skin is cleanable and it is recommended to occasionally take out of housings and scrub with nylon scourer to eliminate any sediment or contaminant build up. The addition of ion exchange within the core of the cartridge has an affinity to heavy metals and will remove some copper and other heavy metals. It has the convenience of having the chrome faucet the only part of the unit visible.
